Bond 25’s Twitter page knows the kind of content we viewers want, which is basically Daniel Craig in any fashion. The image that was tweeted out showcases the actor in a suit tailored to perfection, with a classic Aston Martin V8 in the background. The car was first seen in the Bond film The Living Daylights.

This is certainly good news, since Craig has been away from the production due to an ankle injury that put him out of commission for a few weeks. Collider reports that the film remains on schedule for its release date of April 8th, 2020, under the proficient hands of Cary Joji Fukunaga.
Bond 25 has been plagued with a series of unfortunate events. We have Craig’s injury; Danny Boyle, who was initially pegged to direct the film, stepped away from the project due to a dispute. He confirmed via The Guardian in March this year that his decision to leave was due to the producers finding fault with the screenplay Boyle and his regular writing partner John Hodge. Boyle mentioned that he would rather quit than have to rework the script or work with another writer.
The Sun also recently reported that Grace Jones, who was slated to do a cameo in Bond 25, has dropped out after realising she has very few lines. Bond fans will remember that Jones played a villain in 1985’s A View to Kill, with Roger Moore in the titular role at the time.
Will Bond 25 ever catch a break? Maybe it needs to give itself a title to ward off more bad luck.
