As part of the Dazed and Confused side mission in Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty, players will encounter Shank in his braindance store. There, he will reveal that his friend Tool has frazzled his brain while watching a BD of his favorite influencer, Lina Molina, and now believes that he is her and cannot be snapped out of it. Normal Cyberpunk stuff.
Players are then asked to go and fetch Lina to snap Tool out of it, who finds himself locked up downstairs for his own safety. However, after texting Judy, V is recommended to find something personal for Tool to snap them out of their haze once they meet with Lina.
The sentimental thing that you are looking for is in the cell right next door to the cell holding Tool. Simply open the door and pick up the letter on the floor, in which Tool writes to Lina to thank her for being an inspiration.
Go fetch Lina and convince her to come to Shank’s store to film a special braindance, then when you sit down to direct the scene, choose the option to have Lina read out the letter that Tool wrote her.
After a bit of clunky acting from Lina, Tool will snap out of his haze (which is heavily implied to be all an act), then accuse the real Lina of being an impostor before she storms out, rather justifiably annoyed. Enjoy the easy Eurodollars and the warm glow of fixing another person’s mind as your reward.
Be sure to talk to Johnny afterwards, who will give you the closest thing to a compliment that he has to give.
