The existence of a brand new Crash Bandicoot game has been leaked ahead of time, with Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time appearing as a listing on the Taiwan Digital Game Rating Committee, with the listing mentioning that there will be a PS4 and Xbox One release. No word yet regarding a PC or Nintendo Switch release, but considering the N. Sane Trilogy came to all four platforms eventually, it’s likely that Crash 4 will too.

Both listings contain official cover art for the game, along with an overall synopsis: “Crash is relaxing and exploring his island in his time, 1998, when he finds a mysterious mask hidden away in a cave, Lani-Loli. The mask is one of the Quantum Masks and apparently knows Aku-Aku, Crash’s mask friend! With the Quantum Masks returning and a Quantum Rift appearing near our heroes, they decide to bravely head through to different times and dimensions to stop whoever is responsible.”

This sequel will be developed by Toys For Bob, who helped to bring the N. Sane Trilogy to the Nintendo Switch, along with developing the Spyro Reignited Trilogy, so they’ve got the pedigree required for Crash Bandicoot 4 to be a success.
