Oooh, shiny!

Activision have revealed in a blog post that four new weapons will be available to find in Call of Duty: Warzone, Modern Warfare’s Battle Royale mode in a new update that’ll go live tomorrow. The new weapons include the infamous 725 shotgun, or the now nerfed “sniper shotgun”, the MK2 Carbine marksman rifle, the .50 GS handgun and the EBR-14 marksman rifle.

All four weapons will be available to find in the world in both common and uncommon varieties, though you can always just call in more powerful versions via airdrops. It’s likely that more marksman rifles are just going to encourage rooftop camping, though a new shotgun will be handy for any interior engagements.

As for Modern Warfare updates, the game will receive a new operator in the form of Talon. His bundle includes a finisher animation involving his dog, Indiana, so it’s probably worth purchasing for that alone. The update also brings with it the new map, Khandor Hideout, which is ideal for 6v6 play. Have you been playing Warzone or Modern Warfare? Let us know in the comments.
