So here we are. You read the headline of this article. I wrote it. To be honest I’m not totally happy with it – I’d rather be writing something more prosaic and meaningful. But alas, Broken Matt Hardy has bent the internet to his whim once again by making his brother fight a kangaroo.
Just to be clear, no actual animal cruelty is involved here. Let’s latch on to this detail, because maybe it will make us feel better about the whole thing. In fact, according to Pro Wrestling Sheet, the Kangaroo from Broken Matt’s personal zoo may have actually laid the smackdown on both Hardy brothers. This will come as no surprise to Matt, however, who claims the roo is a ‘vessel’ for the essence of former World Heavyweight boxing champion Smokin’ Joe Fraser.
Why would Matt do this? Apparently he’s sick of old Jeff (AKA Brother Nero) being a ‘spot monkey’. It’s the kind of self awareness which has completely turned around Matt Hardy’s career. Who would have expected this from the guy so late in his wrestling career?

Broken Matt will presumably continue to do this sort of nonsense in the near future, so if we’re back with more of this foolishness in a few weeks don’t be surprised.
