Just as 'The Beast Box' was getting over.

As confirmed by Paul Heyman, Brock Lesnar plans to cash in his Money in the Bank contract tonight on Raw. With WWE Super ShowDown on the horizon, fans are speculating that WWE intend to put the WWE Universal Championship on ‘The Beast Incarnate’ heading in to the big event in Saudi Arabia.

Brock has been appearing on a weekly basis (a rare feat) teasing a cash in on either Seth Rollins or Kofi Kingston much sooner than we expected. It seems that WWE are once again jumping the gun and having the often exciting aspect of the championship pictures written out of programming less than a month after the MITB matches took place.

Lesnar has become one of the highlights of Raw since winning the briefcase, appearing a lot more jovial and fun-loving than what we’re used to seeing. Whether this is Brock making the best out of a bad booking decision, or simply not giving a damn and making it all into one big joke is down to interpretation. I personally am loving this ‘Beast Box’ gimmick, and as silly as it is, I don’t want to see it go.

There’s the chance that Brock either chooses not to cash-in after all this hype, or he somehow loses his title opportunity. After all, this is an episode of Monday Night Raw, not usually the place to find Brock Lesnar featured in an actual match. It wouldn’t shock me if Brock chooses to no-show his cash in, or decides last minute that he fancies keeping hold of it for a little while longer.

Regardless, the Universal Championship will be defended this weekend at Super ShowDown. The match is currently set to be Seth Rollins against Baron Corbin, but whether that changes based on Brock’s potential cash in tonight, we’ll have to wait and see.

Do you see The Beast cashing in tonight? Or is this all a ruse on behalf of Heyman and WWE? Let us know in the comments below.
