Brian Blessed Lending His Booming Voice To Kingdom Come: Deliverance

Kingdom Come Brian Blessed

Kingdom Come: Deliverance may be a historical RPG with no supernatural elements, but that doesn’t mean it can’t be larger than life. Which is why developer Warhorse Studios have hired none other than legendary British actor Brian Blessed to give the game an extra flair of thespian art.

The legendary British actor is no stranger to the medium of video games, having previously appeared in Viking: Battle for Asgard, Lego Dimensions, Rome Total War: Alexander and Sony’s Invizimals franchise. In Kingdom Come: Deliverance, he’ll be voicing Lord Konrad Kyeser, an eccentric 15th Century German military engineer. Known for his booming voice and over-the-top persona, Blessed even bursts into song at 1:33 in the behind-the-scenes video below.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance will recreate the harsh brutalities of life in the Kingdom of Bohemia, aiming to be as realistic as possible whilst also offering a rich open-world RPG experience. We’ll likely hear news of a release date from publisher Deep Silver at next month’s E3.
