Black Now Available As Part Of The EA Access Vault

Black

This one might have slipped under the radar for many, so consider it a public service announcement: the first person shooter Black, an original Xbox backwards compatible title, is now available as part of the EA Access Vault. If you’re a subscriber, you can download it for free right now.

EA are always adding more and more content to the EA Access Vault as time goes by, with games like Plants vs Zombies, Dragon Age: Inquisition, the entire Mass Effect series and more providing countless hours of gaming goodness across a wide range of games. The subscription only costs about £20 a year too, which isn’t too bad either considering what’s on offer.

The backwards compatible version of Black is the original single player shooter we all fell in love with back in 2006, albeit with an improved resolution and 16 times the original pixel count on Xbox One X. Hard to believe it’s been twelve years since Criterion revolutionised the FPS, and here we are coming back to it all over again. Will you be downloading this classic? Sound off in the comments.
