The Black Mirror Season 3 Trailer From Netflix is Finally Here

Praise be to the Brooker: we finally have our first look at season 3 of the consistently excellent Black Mirror, which will be coming to Netflix on October 21st.

Doubling the series length from three to six episodes, the new Black Mirror will feature more commentary on modern life than ever before and maybe, just maybe, even have one episode that isn’t completely bleak as fuck and terrifying.

Here’s the synopsis:

Created and written by Brooker, Black Mirror taps into our collective unease with the modern world and each stand-alone episode is a sharp, suspenseful tale exploring themes of contemporary techno-paranoia. Without questioning it, technology has transformed all aspects of our lives; in every home; on every desk; in every palm – a plasma screen; a monitor; a Smartphone – a Black Mirror reflecting our 21st Century existence back at us.

Charlie Brooker even spoke to Buzzfeed UK about the upcoming season:

“This time around, we’ve got a detective story, we’ve got a romance, we’ve got a horror romp, we’ve got a playful social satire, we’ve got a grimy horrible thriller and a military story.”

The third season of Black Mirror will be overflowing with talent as it will feature the likes of Bryce Dallas Howard, Mackenzie Davis, Jerome Flynn, Alex Lawther, and Alice Eve in front of the camera and Dan Trachtenberg (10 Cloverfield Lane), Joe Wright (Atonement), and James Watkins (The Woman in Black) behind it. The first two seasons are now on Netflix, so stop reading this and go watch them like right now.
