With E3 just around the corner, Bethesda have picked the perfect time to start teasing some Fallout news, which is what they’ve started doing, the little scamps. Their Twitter is currently displaying the trademark “Please Stand By” screen, and as if on command, the gaming world is standing by.

Of course, with a tease like that, the speculation now becomes what form this Fallout news will take. The most prevalent theory at the moment appears to be remasters of either Fallout 3, or Fallout: New Vegas. Or both. It’ll be surprising if it’s Fallout 5, but who knows at this point? We’re putting forth the outside chance bet of roaming the nuclear wastelands on the Switch in some form.
Bethesda are already planning for a big presence at E3 this year, with fellow post apocalyptic game Rage 2 confirmed to appear during the Bethesda showcase. After today, it’s fair to add Fallout to that list.
