As part of the first-ever WarGames themed Survivor Series pay-per-view, two teams of WWE’s top female stars will clash, with one team being led by current RAW Women’s Champion, Bianca Belair and the other by Damage Control. Also joining the ranks are the likes of Rhea Ripley, Asuka and Alexa Bliss, but one of the most hotly anticipated features of this match is who exactly is going to end up taking the final spot on Team Belair.
It is now heavily speculated that former WrestleMania main-eventer and RAW/SmackDown Women’s Champ, Becky Lynch, will enter the WarGames match alongside the babyface tandem. Lynch has been absent from WWE since SummerSlam, when she was defeated in the opening match by Bianca Belair, prior to the debut of Damage Control. Lynch joined Belair in a stare down to see out the match and was then assaulted backstage the following night on RAW so there’s enough of a precedent for her to join her former rival to take down Bayley’s stable for good.
‘The Man’ would be a fantastic addition to the match and really give the first-ever women’s WarGames contest on the main roster a mainstream feel. Although nothing is confirmed, it seems most likely that Becky will be returning to action sooner rather than later. WWE have confirmed that the final entrant to WarGames will be announced as part of this week’s episode of SmackDown Live, so keep your eyes peeled for a Becky Lynch appearance in the very near future.
