The annual WWE Hall of Fame ceremony has wormed its way into the headlines months ahead of schedule. WWE have confirmed that this year’s class will include former World Heavyweight Champion Batista and the faction known as The New World Order. Both inductees are more than worthy headliners for this year’s Hall of Fame, and will undoubtedly be met with a fantastic reception from fans and peers alike.

Batista’s legacy is substantial both inside and outside of the squared circle. Having battled with some of WWE’s biggest stars over the years, including: The Undertaker, Triple H and John Cena, winning numerous world championships and then going on to become a box office attraction in films such as Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy and Spectre.

Supporting ‘The Animal’ is a who’s who of the 1990s. The NWO were instrumental to the evolution of the industry, spearheading WCW’s efforts against the WWE in the infamous Monday Night Wars. This induction will be shared between the NWO’s leading members: Hulk Hogan, Kevin Nash, Scott Hall and X-Pac. Luckily WWE chose to skip out on the countless members of NWO and its various subsidiaries. Expect Kliq hijinks from this speech.

With so much time to go between now and WrestleMania weekend, there’s bound to be plenty of deserving inductions on the way. Who else would you like to see enter this year’s Hall of Fame? Let us know in the comments below.
