Ever wondered if there was an 15″ LCD TV released in the shape of Bart Simpsons’ big dome back in 2007? Well, wonder no more!
There’s precious little info on this TV out there, as Google has now ruined the search results to bring you eBay listings from nine years ago and AI that tells you to drink bleach — cheers for that! But I can tell you that it’s made by Siemens and is called the STV1501.
This is a surprisingly decent set for the time, and the fact that it’s entirely a gimmick. The screen is crisp enough, but the sound does sound like you’re trying to communicate with a mouse down a well. Still, if you’re looking for something to play Hit and Run on, it’s an entirely cromulent little unit.
