Bandido Wins Battle Of Los Angeles 2019

Big Dave seemed ecstatic.

PWG’s annual BOLA weekender has come to an end and we have a hot independent superstar standing tall with the 2019 trophy. Bandido defeated David Starr and Johnathan Gresham in the tournament’s triple threat finals after going the distance throughout the weekend.

Bandido has become a popular name on the indies, making his name as part of Ring of Honor and AAA. This is Bandido’s second consecutive year in the BOLA finals, coming within inches of defeating Jeff Cobb in last year’s finals as well.

This should mean huge things for the young luchadore in PWG, with an upcoming title shot lined up for him after this big victory. David Starr also proved himself to be a big player as part of this weekend’s tournament, defeating the PWG champion, Jeff Cobb, and AEW’s Darby Allin as part of the semi-finals. Seems like PWG is the place to be if you’re looking for exciting indie wrestling.
