CD Projket Red have today announced that Bandai Namco will be handling the distribution of CD Projekt Red in many parts of Europe for whenever that elusive release date may one day appear.

Bandai will distribute the game in Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Monaco, Malta, Norway, Portugal, San Marino, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, The Netherlands, and the United Kingdom.

Michał Nowakowski, CD PROJEKT’s Member of the Board and SVP of Business Development, said on the news:

“Our current distribution partnership with BANDAI NAMCO is built on the strong foundation and trust developed during our previous projects. We’ve successfully cooperated on The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, and I’m convinced BANDAI NAMCO will take good care of Cyberpunk 2077.”

That relationship also extends to the upcoming Soulcalibur VI, which Geralt will be a playable character in. Who knows when we will see that relationship blossom further, however: Cyberpunk 2077 will be released when it’s ready.

The press release also includes a potentially new piece of art, which I cannot remember seeing previously:

Cyberpunk 2077

We recently saw a huge chunk of action from Cyberpunk 2077 which detailed that it will be an ultra-violent, ultra-stylish and ultra-ambitious title — it’s basically ultra all over. CD Projekt Red have even said they want to “change the industry” with the game, so watch this space.
