After a long, long wait following the finale of The Final Season’s previous part, Attack on Titan is finally coming to an end. Well, the end is starting, at least. The ending for Attack on Titan Final Season Part 3 Final Arc finally comes in fall 2023, with the first part of this final arc in the final season releasing this March. Confusing? Yes. That’s why we’re breaking down every episode in in Attack on Titan: Season 4 Part 3 and 4, including what time the episodes release and where you can watch it.
The last time we were in the Attack on Titan universe, Eren had just unleashed the Rumbling and promised to destroy the world after easily wiping the floor with Marley thanks to his army of Colossal titans. In Part 3, his friends (and Reiner and Annie) will try to stop him from bringing about almost total global genocide in his perhaps misguided quest to save Paradis from those who wish harm on it for its people’s previous transgressions. Pretty low stakes stuff, then.
With anime’s most protracted final season actually looking like providing what its name suggests this year, here’s everything you need to know about Attack on Titan: Season 4’s final arc in what’s sure to be a finale few are able to forget.
Attack on Titan: Season 4 Part 3 & 4 Episodes Release Dates
Attack on Titan: Season 4 Part 3 will actually release in two parts itself, one taking the form of an hour-long episode this March and another dropping later in 2023, which will take the form of another extended episode. Here’s the release dates of the episodes we know so far:
Episode 1 – March 4th, 2023
Episode 2 – November 4th, 2023
Following the conclusion of Episode 1, it was confirmed that the second part will drop in fall 2023. On September 11th, 2023, the second episode’s part was confirmed for November 4th, 2023. The trailer, which you can catch below, was publicised on September 12th and teases the final showdown.
Attack on Titan: Season 4 Part 3 & 4 Release Times
The first extended episode of Attack on Titan: Season 4 Part 3 aired at 12:25 AM Japan time on Saturday, March 4th, 2023 as a special event on NHK General, with MAPPA’s Yuichiro Hayashi taking over directorial duties.

Due to timezone differences, the episode actually premiered on Friday for those in the west.
The final piece of Attack on Titan, Part 4, is due to release at midnight on November 4th in Japan. Unless you are able to watch it in Japan itself, you will likely need to wait for the episode to finish airing on Japanese television for it to also get a subbed release. For that reason, we’re estimating the times below for the final part’s release:

Where To Watch Attack on Titan: Season 4 Part 3 & 4
UPDATE: The first episode is available now on Crunchyroll and Hulu. It released later than expected at 11PM BST. The second and final piece of AoT anime content will also be available on Crunchyroll.
ORIGINAL STORY: As mentioned, Attack on Titan: Season 4 Part 3 is set to premiere on NHK General, a TV station in Japan.
Curiously, no simulcast has been announced for Attack on Titan: Season 4 Part 3 just yet, with neither Crunchyroll or Funimation confirming that they will also be showing the final part of a series they’ve carried during its entire run. However, it’s likely that it will be surprised dropped on Crunchyroll at least a few hours after its initial premiere in Japan.
If you’re going to try and catch it on NHK General (or a rebroadcast elsewhere), it won’t have dubs and the subs may be unofficial.
