Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Revealed, Coming To PS5, Xbox Series X & Stadia

Along with PS4 & Xbox One, obviously.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla

After yesterday’s teaser video, today Ubisoft have revealed the world premiere trailer for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, which as you might have guessed from the name, is set during the Viking Age. Check out the trailer for yourself below.

As far as solid details go, Eurogamer interviewed Ubisoft about some of the features we can expect from the upcoming game. Naturally, Valhalla will follow on from the likes of Origins and Odyssey, with an expansive RPG setting, the choice between a male and female protagonist, romance options and customisable gear.

The key difference for Valhalla seems to be the idea that you’ll be building your village settlement, with quests beginning and ending at the settlement, romances blossoming amidst the safety of the village and harsh decisions will affect the area’s development. It sounds like an ambitious title for a series that’s already reinvented itself, so it makes sense that it’ll be heading to PS5, Xbox Series X and Google Stadia, along with PC, PS4 and Xbox One this Christmas.
