Assassin’s Creed Mirage: How to Access Your DLC

Mirage
Mirage

As a modern day Ubisoft game, you best believe that Assassin’s Creed Mirage has DLC across a whole range of different things. From throwback cosmetics to gameplay-altering items, players have a lot of additional ways of spending their money in-game. If you’ve bought some extra DLC for Mirage, including the rather fetching Deluxe Pack inspired by Prince of Persia, you will have to wait a little bit before you access it though.

First off, you need to make sure that you have activated the DLC on your account, whether you’re playing on PC, PlayStation or Xbox. If you bought the game digitally, you should automatically have it added to your account. If you bought the game physically, however, things get a little more complicated. The DLC you need, such as the bonus quest, The Forty Thieves, may require a code redemption that should either be on a slip in the case itself or via an email from the retailer you bought it from. Check your spam or log into your retailer account and check messages if you don’t have a slip.

Be sure to double check how to redeem codes on Steam, Ubisoft Connect, PlayStation, and Xbox; Ubisoft themselves have a pretty good resource for this.

If you’ve properly redeemed codes or just bought the game digitally, you will need to then make a little bit of progress before you can actually access all the downloadable content. You effectively have to complete the game’s prologue and arrive at the Harbiyah Bureau in Baghdad, which is about an hour and a half or so of gameplay. Once you get through a cutscene, all of your items will unlock at once and you can view them all in your inventory.

The pre-order bonus, The Forty Thieves quest, will become available after completing the Branching Out quest and reporting to Roshan.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage Deluxe DLC

The Deluxe Pack DLC for Mirage, which is heavily skewed towards Prince of Persia stuff, comes with the following items:

Prince of Persia Items
– The Sand Outfit made of light extravagant fabric that lets you move with fluid grace.
– The Sand Sword that can heal its wielder.
– The Dagger of Time containing sands that legend says can control time.
– The Sand Horse mount that seems to slow time itself as it speeds across the dunes.
– The Sand Eagle, a mysterious being that gives the impression of gliding on the currents of time itself as it soars through the air.
– The Hourglass of Time, a talisman shaped like an hourglass. According to legend, one such vessel was thought to contain sands that held a power that would wreak havoc if unleashed.
– The Desert Sands Initiate of Alamut, a dye that uses shades of the desert and the dunes for this outfit.

– The Art of Assassin’s Creed® Mirage Digital Artbook and Soundtrack
– Assassin’s Creed Mirage The Forty Thieves Quest

All of the other DLC is available through the in-game Animus Store or by completing challenges and redeeming points via Ubisoft Connect. You are also able to buy the Deluxe Pack separately without buying the Deluxe Edition specifically.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X & S.
