Arrested Development Season 4 Is Getting A “Remix” On Netflix

Arrested Development season 4

After landing on Netflix, the long-awaited fourth season of Arrested Development landed to what you would call a mixed response. As good as it was to see the Bluths again, the pacing of the series was languid, not helped by each episode not being in a chronological order.

Its new remix is aiming to fix that.

Prior to season 5’s release, the show’s creator, Mitch Hurwitz, took to Facebook to announce the impending release of Arrested Development Season 4 Remix: Fateful Consequences, which will extend the series to 22 episodes that are shorter in length to focus on keeping it consistent to the earlier seasons.

And it drops this Friday, May 4th.

Here’s the full message from the official Arrested Development Facebook page.

While season 4 of Arrested Development was by no means a terrible time, it was something that you really had to make work of to get through. Repeated viewings made the new format easier to swallow, however. Hopefully with a fresh perspective and a very diligent editor it can finally be the season we all hoped it would be.

In other news, Hurwitz has no news on when season 5 will be arriving on Netflix. It’s coming “shortly”, so keep an eye out.
