Arkham Knight is Finally Coming Back to PC

Following a woeful initial launch which saw the game being pulled from release, Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment have announced that Arkham Knight will be returning to PC at the end of October.

As an example of publishers being cynically lazy with their PC ports, Warner Bros handed the responsibility of adapting the massive game to a tiny team who understandably left a lot to be desired when it came to the finished product. It was buggy, slow, and made Batman seem like he was a rubbish superhero, which is not acceptable because he is the goddamn bat.

Speaking on their blog, the publishers stated:

“As many of you know, we released a major patch for Batman: Arkham Knight PC a few weeks ago. While there were significant performance improvements made to the game, the teams are continuing to work on the additional updates that were outlined in our previous post. We expect these updates to be ready at the end of October, at which time the PC version will be made available for purchase. In addition, support for all DLC that has been released for the console versions will be in place.

Thanks again for your continued patience and support. We’ll be sure to update everyone as soon as the update is live.”

This means that people buying Arkham Knight at the end of the month will be hopefully getting a polished and updated version which has full support for DLC too. Those who bought the game on initial release despite the many bugs have since had it patched.
