As part of their long-time collaboration with each other, Apex Legends and Twitch are once again teaming up to bring free skins to the game. To coincide with the launch of Legacy, Prime Gaming subscribers will be able get their hands on the rather fetching Punk Rocket skin for Valkyrie, Legacy’s new Legend.

To unlock the Punk Rocket skin in Apex, you must be a Prime Gaming subscriber and connect your Prime and EA accounts. Prime Gaming costs $119/£79 a year, or $12.99/£7.99 a month, and comes included with an Amazon Prime subscription. You also get free games and tonnes of loot for other games as well.

Here’s everything you should know about the exclusive Valkyrie skin, which you can get on PC, PlayStation or Xbox.

Where To Sign Up & Claim The Skin

Here’s a step-by-step guide to Prime Gaming and claiming your skin:

– First off, make sure you claim your loot from the Apex Legends Prime page, making sure you’re signed in.
– Log in to your EA account to start linking. You should already have one of these from playing Apex.
– Authorise EA’s request to use your Prime account, then accept requests from both EA and Prime Gaming to link them together.
– If all goes well, both your accounts will be linked and you will also be able to claim the Punk Rocket skin from right here.

The most important thing to remember with this is that you are 100% using the right account as you will not be able to transfer your Prime skins as there’s no cross-platform progression in Apex.

You have until roughly the first week of June to claim the Valkyrie skin, at which point it will be rotated out for that month’s free skin.

How To Unlock Valkyrie

Valkyrie, daughter of the legendary Viper, also need to be unlocked in Apex, otherwise you (obviously) won’t be able to use her skin.

To unlock Valk, you need to part ways with 12000 Legend Token or 750 Apex Coins. Legend Tokens are earned by playing the game, while Apex Coins are available in the form of microtransactions.

Apex Legends is available now for PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Switch.
