It speaks volumes for the popularity of a game when a DLC can boast more Hollywood names than the cast of the next Iron Man film. When you have something as monolithic as Call of Duty and its irresistible zombies mode, it’s kind of expected that the likes of John Malkovich will tag along too.
The aforementioned Mr. Scenery Chewer, Rose McGowan, Bill Paxton, Jon Bernthal and a few C-Listers will be joining the cast for ‘Exo Zombies’: the first foray into undead FPS madness that Treyarch have had nothing to do with. Advanced Warfare players have had a small slice of the zombie pie already but had to battle through the Exo Survival mode for 5 minutes of action.
According to the official CoD YouTube channel:
“Untrained and unprepared, four Atlas employees must survive a horror unlike any other. John Malkovich, Bill Paxton, Rose McGowan, and Jon Bernthal star in Exo Zombies, coming to Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare DLC in 2015.”
Call me cynical, but surely it’s a bit naughty that they’re charging extra money for something which used to be included with the main game in earlier entries in the series?
