Sony’s hot streak for their subscription service continues with a rather underrated fisty gem and a melodramatic slice of Jason-ing with its line-up for July 2018 on PlayStation Plus.
Absolver is arguably the headlining act and the more eye-raising addition, especially as it only came out last year. A fighting game not a million miles away from For Honor, Absolver is instead more of methodical and patient game with some sumptuous low-poly visuals. Its learning curve is as steep as they come, so you have been warned.
Next up, Heavy Rain continues the Daveaissance on PlayStation Plus with David Cage’s Beyond Two Souls a recent addition as well. Heavy Rain is the better game and features Cage at his most restrained, which still means that the storytelling goes overboard somewhat. I never actually managed to finish Heavy Rain on PS3 due to a scratched disc, so I am looking forward to it.

These games will be available from July 3rd, so you have until July 2nd to download June’s games if you haven’t yet. The bonus for June, Black Ops 3, is available until July 11th.
