Dead or Alive 6 has been pushed back by two weeks.

Koei Tecmo and Team NINJA have announced that Dead Or Alive 6, the latest entry in the fighting series, has been pushed back to March 1st, 2019.

Originally slated to launch February 15th, 2019, the reason stated is that they want to make the game the best it can be and to make balance changes, though the reality may be that it would have been coming out on a day featuring Metro Exodus, Far Cry New Dawn, Jump Force, and Crackdown 3. A two week pushback won’t kill it.

Yohei Shimbori, Dead or Alive 6’s producer and director, said the following:

“The title’s development is already near complete; however, we would like to take more time to further polish its balance, gameplay, and expressivity. In return for your patience, we commit to bringing you the best DEAD OR ALIVE gaming experience. I am truly sorry for the inconvenience caused by the release delay of DEAD OR ALIVE 6.”

Dead or Alive 6 will launch March 1st for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
