Plants Vs Zombies: Garden Warfare 3 Leaked By Amazon

Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare

Ahhh, gaming industry leaks. They lead to some hilarious situations, such as this one: an Amazon listing has outed the existence of Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare 3, the third installment of the third person shooter series that was spun-off from the popular Plants vs Zombies.

The leak came in the form of a PvZ comic book scheduled to be released in September 2018. The official description for the comic book contains the following: “Paul Tobin returns to write the official comic book bridge between video games PvZ: GW2 and PvZ: GW3 with Tim Lattie returning to deliver artwork!” Because, as we all know, the Plants vs Zombies lore is the most important thing in the world.

EA have yet to confirm the existence of Garden Warfare 3, but have stated that a number of new games will be unveiled during E3 2018 and their own EA Play event, and it seems like Plants Vs Zombies: Garden Warfare 3 will feature in some capacity, alongside Anthem and the new Battlefield game.

The real question is how Garden Warfare will be handled in this post-Star Wars: Battlefront 2, anti loot box world. The Garden Warfare model relies heavily on micro-transactions and card packs, which you can buy with real money. Just like in Battlefront 2, you can buy a few dozen card packs, upgrade your characters and be at an advantage over new players. It’ll be interesting to see whether or not EA stick to their guns and keeps the card system, or try a new method of unlocking new characters and perks.
