Former ROH Star Signs To WWE’s Performance Center

Donovan Dijiak

Former ROH star Donovan Dijak is the latest addition to the WWE’s Performance Center.

The 6’7, 265lb monster – real name Chris Dijak – joins the swollen ranks of the comapny with more than a little pedigree to his name.

Dijak’s speed and grace in the ring belies his size. Blending raw power with pace and  agility, it has allowed him to mix it up against all-comers.

Having won Ring Of Honor’s Top Prospect tournament in 2015, Dijak has also plied his burgeoning trade with EVOLVE, wXw’s 16 Carat Gold tournament held in Germany earlier this year as well as Pro Wrestling Guerrilla.

Dijak has also made a name for himself in New England where pitched battles with the likes of current NXT star Tommaso Ciampa turned enough heads to take him right to the top.

Dijak’s road to WWE was not without its bumps. The company tried to lure him away from ROH in January of this year before threats of legal action delayed the move.

Since leaving ROH the following month, Dijak found himself as one of the hottest free agents in American pro-wrestling. Based on this match against Ciampa for Beyond Wrestling last year, it’s not difficult to see why.
