– Whilst WWE has not yet officially acknowledged it, numerous sources are claiming that former WWE Universal Champion Finn Balor may have suffered a concussion during his match with Jinder Mahal on the latest episode of Monday Night Raw.

If this is indeed the case, then it is unknown how long Balor may be out of action, but it could be 2 to 4 weeks.

Lesson here is: don’t hinder Jinder.

– It appears that Renee Young and Dean Ambrose may have tied the knot.

After Kevin Owens made mention of it during the latest Talking Smack, Renee tweeted:

– A new WWE book focusing on NXT, titled NXT: The Future Is Now was released by ECW Press this week.

Promotional material reads:

“NXT: The Future Is Now follows the rise of WWE’s popular NXT brand from its conception to the brink of taking over WWE with its own rabid following. For decades, sports-entertainment had no centralized system for recruiting and training talent. Recognizing this need, Paul Levesque — better known as 14-time World Champion Triple H — convinced Vince McMahon that WWE must reinvent itself. This book delivers the revealing story of Levesque’s vision and the revolutionary impact it has already had on the WWE landscape, cultivating such world-renowned stars as Seth Rollins, Kevin Owens, Charlotte, Finn Bálor, Sami Zayn, Sasha Banks, and so many more.

Learn about WWE’s groundbreaking approach to talent development and take a look inside the state-of-the-art WWE Performance Center as exciting performers hone their wrestling skills, characters, personalities, and so much more under Triple H’s watchful eye. With new, insightful interviews from Triple H, NXT trainers, Superstars, and other personalities, discover how WWE’s future is now!”

– Current rumours suggest that Smackdown commentator JBL is not set to face any punishment regarding the Ranallo bullying stories that have emerged in the past week.

Maura Ranallo is also not expected to return to WWE before his contract expires in August.

Jerry ‘The King’ Lawler weighed-in on the situation during the latest episode of his podcast, explaining that he doesn’t feel JBL will lose his job over this issue.

– Another Smackdown rumour suggest that despite earning a United States Championship #1 contender spot on Smackdown Live this week, there is no plans for AJ Styles to win the title.

This is apparently just a filler-feud for The Phenomenal One until the Randy Orton/Bray Wyatt rivalry is concluded.

– Two weeks removed from Wrestlemania, Monday Night Raw‘s ratings stayed strong, as the show (based around the ‘Superstar Shakeup) had around 3.42 million viewers.

Despite the interest around WWE superstars swapping brands, ratings did fall almost 10% in the third hour, to 3.26 million, down from 3.60 in the second hour.
