I cannot stand smartwatches. Until they can project images out of them and give the SyFy channel some new material, they will always be fiddly gadgets that don’t really belong on anyone’s wrist. To try and make the most out of them, someone with far too much time on their hands has done what everyone with any kind of new technology does: loaded it up with classic N64 games.
As you can probably tell from the video, it’s almost unplayable. The screen is just too damn small – the text is really hard to make out. Props to the guy for taking the time to make it happen, but until we have watches the size of tablets and evolved wrists to carry them, it’s a pointless (but still neat) addition. What they need to do is create a grappling hook that fires out of your smartwatch. Google, you know where I am.
