Despite the fact that Kazuma Kiryu is one of the strongest men ever to walk the streets of Japan, it doesn’t mean he’s immune to being roped in on various errands. Like A Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name proves this by giving Kiryu a series of missions called Stroll ‘N’ Patrol missions. These are small fetch quests or fights that can improve your Akame Network standing quickly, so they’re worth doing.
The Stroll ‘N’ Patrol missions are unlocked in Chapter 2, and most of these missions are fairly self-explanatory, requiring you to fetch an item that can typically be found in one of the various Poppo shops around Sotenbori. However, there’s a couple of missions that’ll leave you scratching your head, such as one mission early on where someone asks you to bring them Okonomiyaki. If you don’t know where to look, you’ll be searching forever as it can only be found in one place.
In order to find the Okonomiyaki in Like A Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name, you need to head to the Hiratai establishment, which is located on the south side of the Sotenbori River, on the Sotenbori Footpath. It’s a hole in the wall ice cream shop that sells the Okonomiyaki you need to complete your mission. Buy any of the varieties on offer, deliver it to the guy who asked for it and you’re all done.
According to Wikipedia, Okonomiyaki is “a Japanese teppanyaki, savory pancake dish consisting of wheat flour batter and other ingredients (mixed, or as toppings) cooked on a teppan (flat griddle).” The word Okonomiyaki itself is “derived from the word okonomi, meaning ‘how you like’ or ‘what you like’, and yaki, meaning ‘grilled’.”
