Sword Nut, as well as having just the best name, is a Substory character in Like A Dragon: Ishin who asks you to show them a variety of different swords. The very first one he requests is the Ebony Sword.
The Ebony Sword can be crafted at Kurogane Smithing, which resides in the middle of the west of Rakunai, up in the north of the map.
You will need the following materials and items to craft the Ebony Sword in Ishin:
– 1x Nameless Sword
– 6x Iron Scrap
– 1x Crooked Magnet
Crooked Magnet can actually be purchased from the vendor within the blacksmith, while Iron Scrap is a fairly common resource that can be found in pots and as quest rewards throughout the game.
Once you’ve crafted your Ebony Sword, return it Sword Nut to claim your reward.
