Fallout Website Changes to a Countdown Timer, The Internet Loses Its Mind

After what seems like a decade of no news whatsoever from Bethesda, fans around the world held their breath as the Fallout website changed to a timer ticking down to a possibly massive announcement.

Although it isn’t definitely related to the big reveal of Fallout 4, the internet (and myself included) collectively lost its mind with expectation. Possibly the biggest question regarding this teaser is just why would they release it now, almost two weeks before it was set for the grand unveiling at E3 on June 16th? My guess is that it will  just be a teaser for the show: an annoying marketing ploy that’s all the rage these days. You have a lot to answer for, Jurassic World.

Delve into the source code of the webpage and you will find the following message:

“PA system failure has occured.
Shutdown of the Masterbrain has been authorized and all sensitive materials have been removed for security purposes.
Please attempt re-access. Have a pleasant day.”

Whatever it may be, we’ll be reporting on it as soon as the countdown finds its way to zero.
