Reports have confirmed that WWE legend and COO, Triple H, returned to his backstage role for a huge talent meeting to kick off WrestleMania weekend. Since suffering from an unfortunate cardiac arrest in the Summer, Triple H has taken a break from his backstage duties and since confirmed his in-ring retirement, a noble end to the legendary ‘Cerebral Assassin’.

However, his return has brought with him a huge morale boost for the WWE roster. It has been stated that there were ’emotional scenes’ backstage as ‘The Game’ told of his recent medical issues, then introducing Nick Khan to reveal some positive improvements to the backstage culture, including some new opportunities for the wrestlers to earn some extra pennies on the side.

Previously, WWE wrestlers were forbidden from earning extra income on top of their contracted salary via platforms such as Twitch, Cameo and privately arranged autograph signings. Khan revealed that the restrictions on these have now been lifted, allowing for the guys and girls to go about their business freely and make the most of their namesake.

Talent described the meeting as a ‘unanimous success’ and that it was a great start to WrestleMania weekend. Here’s hoping this is the start of a lucrative, fresh start for the WWE roster, who can now enjoy new avenues to explore and earn some extra moolah.
