Tomato is a common material for cooking in Tales of Arise that you can often find growing out of the ground. Tomato is used for cooking recipes, like Vegetable Soup and Vegetable Juice.
Cooking in Tales of Arise becomes available shortly after you start exploring with Shionne for the first time. You are able to cook food at a campfire before resting, which will give you a small boost based on the recipe.
Tomato can also be sold to merchants for a small amount of gald, like the rest of the vegetables in the game. Tomato sells for 15 gald apiece, which, while not great on paper, does make it worth a lot when you sell more than one as they are very common. We currently have 30 tomatoes in your inventory while writing this, which would net us a cool 450 gald once sold.
