Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remaster Outed By Ratings Board

Danger close.

The South Korean ratings board has seemingly outed the existence of a campaign remaster for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. Twitter user Nibellion spotted the listing, which was posted last month, but no specific platforms were mentioned.

Again, this would be a remaster of the original Modern Warfare 2 from 2009, not an immediate follow-up to last year’s Modern Warfare reboot. The rating also suggests that the remaster will be a standalone title, unlike the remaster to the original Modern Warfare, which was initially bundled with the much-maligned Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare.

Rumours about a Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 have been swirling since 2018, when an Amazon listing emerged. However, this is the most solid confirmation yet that a remaster is in the works. I’m sure we’ll hear more about it in the coming months. Would you be interested in a Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 remaster? Let us know in the comments.
