Ahead of its launch later in the month, Bethesda have revealed some of the customisation you can apply to DOOM Slayer to make him feel like your very own ripping and tearing child, including a rather fetching unicorn skin.
Detailed in the trailer below, it looks like you will be able to customise your DOOM Slayer with classic DOOM skins, as well as some recolours and the all-important unicorn horn and wings.
Available as part of the DOOMicorn Slayer Master Collection, you just need to get yourself a Twitch Prime subscription (don’t forget that it’s free if you’re with Amazon Prime already), and then link it to your Bethesda.net account.
Here’s everything you get with the DOOMicorn Slayer Master Collection:
‘DOOMicorn’ Slayer Skin
‘Purple Pony’ Skin Variant
‘Night-mare’ Skin Variant
‘Magic Meadow’ Base Podium
‘For Those Who Dare to Dream!’ Maxed-Out Podium
‘Clip Clop’ Stance Animation
‘Haymaker’ Intro Animation
‘Horsing Around’ Victory Animation
‘Love Conquers All’ Player Icon
‘Super Sparkle Slayer’ Nameplate & Title
The pack is available from March 20th until April 21st and features items that can also be used in BATTLEMODE: Eternal’s interesting new multiplayer mode. Don’t forget that you can also get freebies for Eternal by signing up to the Slayers Club.
There’s great crossover potential here for DOOM with not only other id and Bethesda franchises, but also its cousin: Animal Crossing. Imagine being able to wear the face of Isabelle as you chainsaw through Hell. I’d enjoy that a lot.
DOOM Eternal launches March 20th for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Stadia. A Switch version is due at an unannounced date.
