Capcom Share First Project Resistance Trailer

Mr X marks the spot.

Project Resistance

After a light tease and a few (of all things) thumbnail leaks, Capcom have shared the first proper look at the upcoming Project Resistance, which takes place in the Resident Evil universe.

You can check out the teaser below, which seems to show some kind of Jigsaw lunatic commanding the undead forces of Umbrella to attack four people.

Here’s the incredibly brief synopsis:

“A brand-new team-based survival horror experience is coming. #ProjectResistance”

It’s hard to derive too much from this teaser, or even on the official site for the game. It does, however, look like a four player co-op game as first surmised. The evil “gamesmaster” is certainly an interesting twist, though. Will he be playable and make it a 4v1 game similar to Dead By Daylight?

Project Resistance will be Capcom’s first new RE project since Resident Evil 2 earlier in 2019. More details will be announced at TGS 2019 from September 12th, so you don’t have long to wait.

Whatever Project Resistance is, it can’t be worse than Umbrella Corps. Right?
