Post-SummerSlam season kicked off in a big way with a huge return to the Women’s division and the announcement of the King of the Ring tournament. ‘The Boss’ Sasha Banks made her WWE comeback last night, sporting a new hair-dye and a new attitude. She immediately targeted hometown heroine Natalya and the Raw Women’s Champion, Becky Lynch.
Banks has been on a hiatus from the company since dropping the Women’s Tag Titles at WrestleMania 35. Plenty of speculation has been floated about regarding her opinions on the company and whether she’d actually make a return. But it seems that any issues have been put to bed and she’s back on board for a run at the title with a renewed heel persona.
In other news, the historic King of the Ring tournament will be making its own comeback next week on Raw, pitting 16 of Raw and Smackdown Live’s best and brightest against one another to secure a shot at their respective brand’s champion. No news as to when exactly we’ll see the KOTR finals, but with Clash of Champions only four weeks away, it’s safe to assume that it’ll culminate then.
