WWE’s Mixed Match Challenge has got a lot of people excited and promises to be one of the most talked about non-PPV events at this early stage in the year, with a lot of tantalising pairings that could end up together.

SmackDown Live have announced their first official pairing for the tournament: SmackDown Women’s Champion, Charlotte Flair, and former NXT Champion, ‘The Glorious One’, Bobby Roode.

The robe game alone is going to be massively on point.

A very formidable and talented pair in their own right, Flair and Roode could well be early favourites to walk away with the $100,000 prize for a charity of their choosing.

This news comes shortly after Raw announced their own first mixed team: Raw Women’s Champion, Alexa Bliss, and ‘The Monster Among Men’, Braun Strowman, who has promised that their unusual combination will be out to scare all their opposition.

The Mixed Match Challenge kicks off January 16th, exclusively on Facebook Live.
