League of Legends is a game with one of the world’s most dedicated and active fanbases, and Riot Games encourages the creativity of its fandom by giving them a plethora of forums and social media threads on which to show off their League of Legends creations.
One of the most popular forms of fan expression is cosplay (a Japanese word which combines the English “costume” and “play”), where fans dress up as their favourite League of Legends champions. Due to the large amount of champions and skins–as well as the intricate and detailed nature of the outfits and weapons of League of Legends characters–cosplayers never seem to run out of source material to work with for their costume creations, and there are costumes to suit every body type and budget.
