SINGLE PREMIERE: The Lulls – ‘Paris’

There’s a lot to be said about music that stops in your tracks, makes you sit back and simply listen to what it’s telling you. The Lulls have managed to do just that to me with their supremely chilled and captivating track, ‘Paris‘, the latest slice of sonic goodness we are able to exclusively premiere to you at Cultured Vultures.

Hailing from San Diego, The Lulls have been making some waves already following a big year in 2015, during which they were nominated for San Diego Music Award. They’re looking to bring 2016 to a close with that same momentum with the release of their upcoming album, Island of Daughters. Despite this being their first full release, The Lulls have been playing music for 16 years, which is obvious when you listen to how at ease they are with conveying their sound.

The accompanying music video for Paris is directed by Matthew Lawless and it suits the tone of the song perfectly. This is a track that should simply be appreciated, something to listen to with a cold drink in hand and nothing but reflection in your mind. Summer may be almost over, but Paris arrive just in time to remind us there’s still time left.
