So, you’re playing Warframe, when suddenly you’re stuck in a time loop, wondering how the heck do you get around in this bizarre world ruled by emotions? Welcome to Warframe’s new update, The Duviri Paradox. While playing throughout the quest and this roguelike mode, you can level up different perks to gain unique rewards and abilities to best help you fight the Dax warriors of Duviri. Here are the best Intrinsics to level up first while playing Warframe: The Duviri Paradox in order from best to worst.

What Are Intrinsics And How To Earn Them

Intrinsics are a monetary-like resource dropped as treasure and rewards throughout The Duviri Paradox expansion in Warframe while playing through a time loop. They can be earned through opening chests, completing both major and secret objectives, and obtained with random drops. Intrinsic points can be spent inside Teshin’s cave behind the central chamber or right next to the door into Duviri on the Zariman Ten-Zero ship.

You can select a different Intrinsic to spend so many points on and as the rank increases for each Intrinsic ability, it becomes more expensive to level up. It’s best to make sure to spread out spending points wisely and know how each stat works for your Drifter. They can do anything from giving Drifter more HP, less cooldown time, and resistance to being knocked off their mount called a Kaithe.

Warframe: The Diviri Paradox | The Best Intrinsics to Level Up, From Best To Worst

The four Intrinsics that players can level up in The Diviri Paradox are as follows: Combat, Riding, Opportunity and Endurance.

Endurance

Endurance is all about your ability to withstand damage and gain health based on your actions in combat. Including scoring headshots giving health back to you and parries restoring even more health, leveling up Endurance ensures more durability over anything that can hurt you. Even at the final rank, the ability to Cheat Death gives you a few seconds of invincibility and has you surviving lethal damage, with a cooldown that resets every three and a half minutes.

If survivability is your main concern, here’s where you should be dumping your points, particularly early on.

Opportunity

Opportunity is all about giving you better loot to obtain in Duviri. This stat is very good to choose due to the ability to pick extra Decrees, which grant beneficial effects such as Toxic element from melee hits as Drifter, faster weapon fire rate, etc. You can also gain more weapon choices as your Warframe inside Teshin’s cave before starting a run in Duviri, and even alternative weapon choices.

The real kicker is the 10th level choice, “Stranger in Black.” This gives a small chance for The Stalker, your old rival, to show up as a playable Warframe choice while inside the Undercroft in Duviri. This is an extremely powerful boon as Stalker is a unique character that is exclusive to this mode and packs some extremely powerful abilities no other Warframe has.

Combat

The Combat intrinsic is pretty self-explanatory, acting as your offensive perk list. Gun damage, ability damage, sword damage and more are all buffed as you climb through these ranks. One of the best abilities available here is Transference Surge, which comes early at Rank 3 and unlocks the ability to summon your Warframe of choice while in Duviri for a brief time and use all of its weapons and abilities. This can be extremely helpful during moments of overcrowded combat and is an excellent early choice for solo players.

Depending on how you prioritize your Intrinsic levels, Transference Surge can be your ultimate ability built around surviving for as long as possible while in Duviri.

Riding

Riding is purely centered around your steed inside Duviri, the Kaithe, which mainly allows you to speed through Duviri in style. There are some good benefits in the Riding tree, but it is not worth dumping everything into immediately. The biggest boon from this tree is at Rank 9, “Equestrian Bond.” This allows you to summon the Kaithe, which keep in mind can fly as well as run very fast, in any open world area in the Origin System including Orb Valis, the Cambion Drift, and the Plains of Eidolon. The Kaithe is massively beneficial due to the way it handles like an airplane and how high it can fly, giving you tons of advantages in areas typically meant for ground vehicles.

Warframe is available now as a free-to-play game on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X & S.
