It’s been a pretty hefty start to the week for wrestling news, especially in the world of WWE, who dropped a massive bombshell regarding Money in the Bank earlier today.

At the NBC Universal Upfront today in New York, WWE Raw Women’s Champion Nia Jax announced none other than Ronda Rousey as her next challenger for the championship.

This comes as a shock to many who thought WWE may hold off on a Rousey title run until WrestleMania 35 next year, after taking time to build “The Baddest Woman on the Planet”.

However, it seems they will be looking to capitalise on “Rowdy” Ronda’s unprecedented momentum coming out of WM34’s most entertaining match, when she teamed with Kurt Angle to take on Triple H and Stephanie McMahon.

Also announced for MITB, Shinsuke ‘kick him in the’ Nakamura will once again face AJ Styles for the WWE Championship.

On Twitter, Shane McMahon announced the match, promising a definitive winner. No stipulation has yet been determined, but after WWE have managed to ruin what many hoped would be a game changing feud, we can only hope this might be their last encounter for a while.
