The Quarry Is Supermassive’s New Until Dawn Follow-Up

This could be something special.

The Quarry

Supermassive Games, the creators of Until Dawn and The Dark Pictures Anthology, are continuing their love affair with horror-infused narrative adventure games with The Quarry, set to launch on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X | S on June 10th. Check out the debut trailer at the top of the page.

Set in the summer camp of Hackett’s Quarry, you’ll play as the nine camp counsellors spending one more night away from home. Unfortunately, they’ll have to contend with some bloodthirsty locals and mysterious creatures if they have any hopes of surviving the night.

Like the rest of Supermassive’s games, you’ll be able to control the different characters throughout the game, with your choices and actions determining the fates of all the characters involved. The Quarry will include online play support, where you and seven friends can vote on key decisions to shape the story, along with a local co-op mode where players control individual counsellors. There’s also adjustable difficulty levels, meaning everyone can enjoy the gameplay, along with Movie Mode so players can kick back and embrace the scares.

As for the cast, The Quarry features plenty of familiar faces and Hollywood up and comers, with David Arquette as Chris, Ariel Winter as Abigail and Justice Smith as Ryan being some of the most noteworthy castings. While The Dark Pictures Anthology has provided decent scares since the release of Until Dawn, The Quarry could be Supermassive’s best work yet.
