The Division 2 Open Beta Starts March 1st

Looks like that loose-lipped developer was right.

Division 2

In a move that’ll shock no one familiar with Ubisoft’s recent livestreams, it has been confirmed that The Division 2 will be getting an open beta that’ll last from March 1st to March 4th. The beta will be available across PS4, Xbox One and PC.

No details yet on what kind of content the open beta will offer, but it’s fair to assume that it’ll include all the missions and features of the closed beta, with perhaps a little bit extra thrown in for good measure. For reference, that included two story missions, five side quests and some open world content, one dark zone area, the PvP mode Skirmish and an endgame “Invaded” mission. Players could also look into 3 class specialisations.

There’s no shortage of things to do then, and it still feels like Ubisoft are holding things back for the full release. Fingers crossed that The Division 2 manages to make more of an impact than its predecessor when it launches on March 15th for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
