2023 has rapidly become the year of fighting games, with Street Fighter 6 becoming one of the most well reviewed and beloved fighting games of all time, while Mortal Kombat 1 promises to be a bold reinvention of the franchise. Not to be outdone, Bandai Namco have decided to announce more news regarding their upcoming fighter, Tekken 8. More specifically, they’ve announced a closed network beta test that you can sign-up for right now. Here’s everything you need to know.

Tekken 8 Closed Network Beta Test Platforms

The Closed Network Beta Test will be available on all platforms that Tekken 8 is scheduled to be released on, so that includes PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X & S.

Tekken 8 Closed Network Beta Test Times

The reason why we mentioned platforms before times is because timings are dependant on which platform you choose. Essentially, the beta will be split over two weekends, with the first weekend being exclusive to PS5 owners, while the second weekend will include PC and Xbox Series X & S players.

The first period of the beta test will be available from July 21st 10am until July 24th 9am CEST, with a three hour maintenance period starting on July 21st at 10pm CEST. Again, this period will be exclusive to PS5 owners only. The beta will then go live again a week later on all platforms, from July 28th at 10am until July 31st at 9am CEST, and there’ll be another three hour maintenance period that starts on July 29th at 10am CEST.
