Potato is an uncommon material for cooking in Tales of Arise that can be found planted in the ground in most outdoor environments. Potato is used in recipes for cooking, like Steamed Potatoes and Vegetable Soup.
Cooking in Tales of Arise becomes available shortly after you start exploring with Shionne for the first time. You are able to cook food at a campfire before resting, which will give you a small boost based on the recipe.
Potato can also be sold to merchants for a small amount of gald. Potato sells for 10 gald apiece, which isn’t the best price on its own, though does make more sense when you sell plenty of them in one go.
