A remote school for teenagers with superpowers sounds like somewhere that should have a fairly thorough admissions process. Talentless Nana suggests otherwise. Its students are supposedly training to fight the enemies of humanity, but the arrival of transfer student Nana Hiiragi makes their isolated island considerably less reassuring.
Adapted from Looseboy and Iori Furuya’s manga, the anime mixes supernatural abilities with suspicion, deception and people asking exactly the wrong question at exactly the wrong time. It’s best approached knowing as little as possible, preferably before a search result casually explains the first episode.
