Supergiant Games took to The Game Awards to announce that they’re working on Hades 2, their first ever numbered sequel and a continuation of their smash hit roguelike. Check out the debut trailer at the top of the page.
Hades 2 will continue the story of the first game, following a brand new character by the name of Melinoë, who’s looking to take out Chronos once and for all. The isometric gameplay of the first game is back once again, along with the ability to bolster your power by talking to Gods, but there’s a lot of differences too. Supergiant Games have published a blog post with some details about the upcoming game, but we’ll find out more about Hades 2 when it launches into early access in 2023.
