Fans have been waiting and clamouring for a brand new entry in the Super Monkey Ball franchise, after the past two games were simply remasters/remakes of the older games in the series. Thankfully, fans are in luck, as SEGA have just announced Super Monkey Ball: Banana Rumble, launching exclusively on the Nintendo Switch on June 25th, 2024. Banana Rumble features over 200 brand new levels for players to enjoy, which can be experienced in co-op with up to 3 friends, while players will also be able to use a new Spin-Dash mechanic, allowing them to create their own shortcuts across the various levels. Of course, you’ll definitely need to make use of those shortcuts if you’re planning on taking the game online, where you can compete against 15 other players across a variety of game modes.
