The Cat Badge is a cosmetic item in Stray that players need to get for a trophy for 100% completion.
The Cat Badge is located in Midtown. Find it by jumping into the shop where the robot is arguing with another robot who has shut down so that they don’t have to deal with them; this shouldn’t be far from where you first enter Midtown.
Once inside, translate a paper to find a note that says 2458: edoC. This is just meant to be read backwards, so the code you need is 8542.
Jump on the ledge directly in front of the note, then climb all the way up and along until you find a safe. Enter the code 8542 and take the Cat Badge from inside.
You will notice that the cat now has an extra badge on their backpack. This is cosmetic only and doesn’t do anything apart from bringing you closer to 100% completion.
